Background
Gideon Danso-Abbeam (PhD) is an applied economist, agribusiness professional and community development worker with experience throughout Ghana. After obtaining his PhD in Agricultural Economics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the African Centre for Crop Improvement (ACCI), South Africa. Currently, Gideon is a senior lecturer at the 海角乱伦社区, Tamale, Ghana. Gideon has worked as a consultant for both local and international organizations such as Association of Church-based Development Programs (ACDEP), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Market Development Program (MADE), World Education Incorporated, (WEI), SOLIDARIDAD, Netherland Development Agency (SNV) and Noe/A Rocha Ghana. His research covers farm production economics, impact evaluation, food security analysis, climate change economics, poverty and gender. He has published over 50 articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
