The Centre for Gender and Career Mentorship (CGCAM) applies practices that ensure that both men and women’s concerns, aspirations, opportunities and capacities are taken into account in leadership, career progression, research, teaching and learning. The Centre develops activity-based programmes to promote awareness of gender issues, sensitise and advocate for equality and equity in the University community and beyond. The Centre also serves as a medium of comprehensive mentoring for staff and students in their professional/career development pathways.
